The Influence of Workload and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT. Hevea MK II Palembang City

This research aims to empirically analyze the influence of workload and work environment on employee performance at PT. Hevea MK II Palembang. The study is motivated by field phenomena, such as high intensity of overtime and suboptimal work environment conditions. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 186 permanent employees, data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that, partially, both workload and work environment have a significant influence on employee performance. Furthermore, simultaneously, both variables also have a significant impact on employee performance, where the model is able to explain 47.3% of the variation in performance. This finding emphasizes the urgency for the company to manage workload in a balanced manner and create a conducive work environment to optimize employee performance.
