ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine and analyze the concept of the influence of human resource development on employee performance based on a literature review at BNI 46. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of human resource (HR) development in enhancing employee competence, professionalism, and work productivity, as well as maintaining the competitiveness of banking companies in the era of global competition. Using a library research method by reviewing, studying, and analyzing literature or previous research relevant to HR development, work motivation, and employee performance in the banking sector, the findings show that work motivation plays a role in strengthening the influence of HR development on employee performance. This means that HR development through training, continuous education, coaching, and career development can improve employee motivation, which in turn enhances their performance in achieving company targets. These findings emphasize that HR development strategies need to be integrated with efforts to increase work motivation to achieve optimal performance. This research provides practical contributions for BNI 46 in formulating HR development policies based on employee needs accompanied by systematic motivation programs, and future research is expected to include other variables such as transformational leadership and organizational culture to provide more comprehensive results in the context of improving employee performance in the banking sector.
